"I was always reluctant to get a spray tan because I did not like the idea of standing in front of someone naked, being sprayed with stinky solution and looking orange afterward. We all have heard the horror stories and seen Ross's experience on "Friends" with the booths. However with Joanna none of this was an issue! She was very professional and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Gave me breaks to breathe, always a plus. She made sure to ask about any areas I was particularly concerned about... My running shorts tan- yes please! And yes she successfully concealed it pretty well! 🙂 She took the time to explain every brush stroke and why she went in the direction she was going. I felt reassured this was going to look good and natural. Best part of the whole experience: I looked skinner after the tan! 🙂 I did the fast set solution I think it was, showered after an hour or so (looks dark right before showering but don't worry) and dried with a dark towel since you leave a little behind on the towel. And the tan looked fantastic! Worked out the next day and was streak free! Thank you Joanna! I will certainly be back!"
"Joanna is the best, period. I've been getting spray tans pretty consistently for about 10 years, and I also self tan on a regular basis and have tried a zillion formulas, etc. I'm really picky about color and application, and Joanna exceeds every expectation. Her application cannot be beat, I am never streaky and my hands/wrists/feet always look flawless. She works with you on an appropriate color/depth depending on what the event is. I trusted her to spray tan me for my wedding and it turned out beautifully, perfect and natural looking, even next to my naturally tan sisters (attached pic). She's also sprayed me for other events--work and personal, darker and lighter, and it always turns out great. Her prices are reasonable, she's professional, and has always been very flexible with my schedule. And to top it off she's just a super nice person and makes you feel at ease. I'm happy I finally found my HG spray tan!"

"Let me preface this review by stating that I have had hundreds of spray tans all over the world from Beverly Hills to London (I had melanoma and cannot go in the sun) and Joanna at Summer Sheen is the BEST in the industry. I refuse to go anywhere else.... And I did a LOT of research to find her. She's been spraying me for over 3 years now!
1. Her products, both spray and retail, are top of the line....
2. Her dedication to giving me the best tan possible is top notch...
3. Her salon is so cute, clean, and centrally located. I can't say that for most of the spray places in the area.
4. Her technique is PERFECT. I have not once had a streak, smudge, blotch nor have I ever looked orange. Joanna takes her time while being quick and my tan always looks amazing. People stop me on the street every time, no joke.
